My style is one that many would describe as photojournalistic, documenting your day without controlling it. I always tell my clients, “It’s your wedding not my photo shoot”. I understand there are the obligatory group/formal shots requiring a style which is more traditional, but of course those shots are determined by you, so it’s as many or few as you want. In all my photographs I look for emotion, reaction, ambiance and details.
I am the one who will be photographing your wedding. I do normally work with an assistant who shoots along with me and takes care of the equipment leaving me free to concentrate on shooting.
Aside from the group/formal shots, I don’t really work from a list. Of course if there is something of special significance happening at the wedding, be sure to let me know.
Your online gallery will typically be available within 2 weeks and your proof magazine about a week later.
The online gallery is a password protected section of my website where all of your wedding proofs are posted for about 3 months. You, your family and friends can view and order prints from there.
There is no set number of images. The number I take depends on things like how many attendants you have, the number of guests, how many hours of coverage you have purchased, etc. From there I edit all of the images to show only the best ones. In a typical 6 hour wedding you would probably end up with 500-700 images.
Yes, all of the wedding packages include the high resolution digital files along with reproduction rights.
It’s really your choice, but know that if other people are photographing the groups, it will slow down the process.
I use professional grade Canon digital cameras and lenses.
In order to hire me, I require a signed contract and a retainer fee of 50% of the chosen package. Email or call me so I can get the information needed to send you a contract to complete the booking.
